Starting in December 2009, we are introducing the Joomla Pro Roundtable. This great new learning session will take place at the same location (we are dividing the space for new/pro users) from 11:00 am until 11:50 pm. Joomla Pro is targeted toward professional web developers, web designers, project managers, extensions developers, coders, template designers and site administrators. Joomla! KickStart, for newer Joomla users, will be going on concurrently.  At 11:50 am, we'll open up the walls for lunch and our Featured Presentation.

The beta test launch of Joomla Pro is December 9, 2009 at 11:00 am. During this Roundtable, we’ll discuss how to put your backup on an autopilot with Xcloner. This session will also focus on making updates, upgrades and working on a live site without the risk of messing the site up.  Joomla Pro will be led by Robert Nowak and Dan Pietroske (thank you, Robert for the write-up on Joomla Pro).

Meetings of JoomlaChicago are on the second Wednesday of every month, from 11am - 1:30 pm at the offices of The Acquity Group, 500 West Madison St, Suite 2200.

Yeah, you (Nick) and Kendall are doing great on presenting KickStart for the newbeez. We've got some help from other folks to help on that end too, so y'all can head over to J Pro too.

This rocks! I think having a more advanced intro hour will be great. The advanced members will defiantly get more out of coming to the meetings and the newbs can still get their feet wet in the 101. Excellent idea! m/

Robert and Dan, Thanks for volunteering to head up the Joomla Pro Roundtable sessions. This is going to be a great addition to our monthly meetings.
