Hi All,

I thought I would share some information that will be valuable to your sites.

I have a list up that you can download and apply to your .htaccess files to block these KNOWN attackers.

The list is from http://isc.sans.org/sources.html and I have created a formatted list for you to add to the end of your .htaccess file.

This list will block these IPs from reaching your site. It is ready to be INSERTED into your .htaccess file at the end of the file.

Please save it and TEST before you exit your FTP Program. You should not have any troubles but if you get a SERVER ERROR 500, it means you may need to add them through your control panel.

This is available from http://www.joomlarescue.com/denyfrom/denyfrom.txt

I'll update this about once a week or so, and I'll add a date inside the file.

If you're hosting few domain under one account you should be able to insert "deny from" into one .htaccess file.
For example:
domain1.com - /home/user1/public_html/domain1.com
domain2.com - /home/user1/public_html/domain2.com

You need to edit /home/user1/public_html/.htaccess file only as it should work for all sub folders.
As always test it twice and have a backup plan if something won't work.
