Sometimes, an idea comes to life despite a really inappropriate name. Some folks have said they like the name "ChiBlogs" for the new Blog Section of JoomlaChicago, but methinks most people agree, it's totally lame.
Rather than kill too many brain cells, I thought I'd just toss that one up there, so we could get the Blog Area of the site live, thanks to Phil DeKoker and a few other folks who helped out by finally activating a long-dormant component, MyBlog, by one of my favorite developers, Azrul Rahim.
But that brings up an opportunity! We need a cool new name for JoomlaChicago's Blog Area of the site. It's a place where any JoomlaChicagoan (member) can blog away to his or her heart's content! It's also a place where you can go to read up on ideas, and respond with comments. Right now, Joe Scarry is far out into the lead, with what - 283 blog posts so far (joking)?
Anyhoo, got an idea of what to call "ChiBlogs?" Or, should we stick with this Oscar the Grouch name?

Now that I've lived with this question for a few weeks . . .
I'm inclined to think that just "Blogs" is best . . .

When it comes down to it, 'Blogs' is really the most clear, quick, and logical name. I agree with Joe.

Stick with just "Blogs" -- you already have the Joomla/Chicago connection due to the Blogs' placement on the Web site.
My philosophy with all of these button names is that it's better to be more straightforward/obvious/boring than creative/mysterious/obtuse. The star of the show should be the content inside the Blogs, not the title that's applied to them (IMO).
