Here are two ideas for monthly meetings.
1) Have people submit specific problems and let an expert fix it on the overhead for everyone to see.
For some reason, it took me forever to install joomlapack, but it was incredibly easy. If I saw someone do it, it would have been much easier.
2) Joomla is workable to the novice, but my host must have been cold re-booting the server and a couple MySQL tables were corrupted. I was completely lost. It might be helpful to teach how to use MySQL through cpanel or phpMyAdmin.
